CARLA TOLOMEO's exhibition inaugurates

The new museum 'The Palace of Arts - Madlena' in Belgrade, named after the philanthropist couple Madlena and Philip Zepter who conceived and designed it with an area of 7,000 square metres on four floors ready to host exhibitions, conferences, concerts cultural and artistic events theatre performances, and more.


The opening of the Palazzo was marked by the exhibition of sculpture chairs by the world-famous Italian artist Carla Tolomeo sponsored by Formitalia and Mirabili - 'Arte d'Abitare'. A series of artistic creations that combine sculpture and painting and play with shapes, lines, surfaces, volumes, proportions, rhythms, fabrics and applications, creating unique seating that surrounds and envelops the entire space.

The evening event also featured performances by musicians from the world of Italian and international opera, as well as speeches by show business personalities, members of the art world, journalists, press officers and art critics from various European countries, all present to celebrate the birth of this new reality. The opening event of the Museum was also attended by the Italian Ambassador to Serbia, Luca Gori, who said: "Madlena and Philip Zepter's choice to launch the new museum project through Italian art is further confirmation of this country's love for our culture. A love in which we must continue to invest'.
